Startup Help Inc: Empowering Entrepreneurs

The Toronto-based entrepreneur partnered with Startup Help Inc to secure early-stage funding for UrbanEase, a consumer services startup focused on simplifying home and lifestyle management through a digital platform connecting customers with trusted local service providers.

The Challenge

Despite having a strong business concept and growing early customer interest, the founder struggled to attract investors and clearly communicate the company’s long-term growth potential. Previous pitching attempts generated limited traction, and securing funding felt out of reach.

The Impact

Through structured pitch development, investor targeting, and strategic refinement of the business model, the entrepreneur successfully secured seed funding and built relationships with key investors.

“When I first started pitching, I knew my idea had potential, but I couldn’t communicate it in a way that made investors confident,” says founder Daniel Roberts. “I was getting polite rejections, but no real momentum.”

Startup Help Inc worked closely with Robert to strengthen the business narrative, simplify financial projections, and position UrbanEase as a scalable solution within the growing consumer services market. The team also helped identify suitable funding opportunities and prepare for investor conversations more strategically.

“The biggest shift was clarity,” Roberts explains. “Once my pitch was tightened and I understood exactly what investors wanted to hear, everything changed.”

As a result, UrbanEase secured its first round of funding, enabling the company to expand operations, hire key staff, and accelerate growth across the Toronto market.
